| i went to skala 8 years ago and loved it we travel to different countries as not to get bored we are going back july this year 2011 can not wait we are going to the san giorgio hotel so excited cant wait to witness the changes

| I chose Skala as a honeymoon destination in May 2006. I cried when I left. It is stunning and the people are so accomidating. I cant wait to go back next year.

| My first visit to Skala was to the 9muses along Skala beach, my mum has decided to get married there after visiting the island for her 4th time. All the locals were so kind and accomodating and the scenery so beautiful. My partner was so absorbed in the place it weakened him and he proposed to me out our 3rd night there. We are now planning our wedding for 2008 on the same island. Once you have been there you will return, it's beautiful.

| In October this year I have the very deep pleasure of going back to an island where I'd left my soul, in 1999.
First visit was in 1997 when my husband and I took our then, only grandchild to Scala, on the south east of the island.
What a beautiful place and people.
Hardly any tourism at all then!
The island is easily viewed via car as its only about 31klms squared.
Sami was ethereal!!
Every town or village that we went to was beautiful with Mount Aenos, awesome.
Anyway we went back home after only 1 week determined to come back which we did in '99.
The island people are so unassuming and really take the funny view of themselves. They are also caring and considerate and it is not all front either, very genuine.
Anyway, I just hope it has not all been spoilt since the 'famous' film was made!!!
I am expecting great changes as the rebuilding program was just beginning when we went!!
Nothing there but peace and tranquility IN SPADES!!!
WORTH EVERY PENNY.

| I took my Mum to Skala in June 2004, and it was probably the most relaxing holiday I've ever had. The resort of Skala is so clean & tidy and the locals are so friendly & genuine. I would recommend this resort to anyone. I have already booked again for October!

| Brilliant place to just kick back and relax. Something for everybody and very beautiful area. Clean. Safe. Lots of space. Find your spot, lay your towel, get that brolly up and just whip out a good book. Too hot? Tchshhh, open a beer. Or SpLASH! have a swim. It's all good!

| Gone to the resort for the last 15yrs, fantastic! Peacefull, excellent selection of tavernas, good pebble beach. A visit to Archontiko taverna end of the beech before the nudist section is a must (just like faulty towers). Friendly people, great place to chill.
