We stayed at the Doumas Hotel in Sept 04. It was one of the best holidays that we as a family have had. The staff were so friendly and could not do enough for us. As it was late in Sept when we went, and most kids had gone back to school we were a bit worried that our kids would be bored. Far from it! I think we were the only family staying at the hotel and our children were spoilt rotten by Mr and Mrs Doumas. Our youngest even got involved with helping Mrs Doumas with her gardening and rounding up her seemingly hundreds of cats! The hotel rooms were spotless, the grounds were well kept and the swimming pool (the biggest on the island), was fantastic. We were even persuaded by Mr Doumas to try his own wine from his own vineyard on the mainland, which we continued to try for the rest of the holiday! We are hoping to go back either later on this year or next year.

Unfortunately we stayed at other accomodation in Katelios this year but went back to the Doumas, the place we first stayed at when it opened in 2001.They warmly welcomed us back,and we spent most of our week at there accomodation. Penny instantly remembered us and the whole family were brilliant.We will definatly stay there next time we visit the beautifull island of Kefalonia

WE both had a brilliant holiday - The Doumas Apartments have got excellent facilities - in fact the best we have ever had. Michalis and his staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend the Doumas for a quiet and relaxing holiday. We are hoping to go back again this year.
